Gardening Angels are CREATING CITY GARDENS THAT THRIVE
WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED
In 2012, GNTP established a Butterfly Sanctuary, planting over 200 milkweeds and other beneficial pollinator plants.
As a result the park received a Butterfly Certification in 2013 from the North American Butterfly Association.
Along with our volunteers, the ATP students and teachers are a strong force at the Los Rios Park each week supporting and maintaining the longevity of the Butterfly habitats and gardens.
On any given Thursday the park is filled with over 40 volunteers to help maintain and preserve the butterfly, bees and hummingbird habitats
