Gardening Angels are CREATING CITY GARDENS THAT THRIVE

WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED

  • In 2012, GNTP established a Butterfly Sanctuary, planting over 200 milkweeds and other beneficial pollinator plants.

  • As a result the park received a Butterfly Certification in 2013 from the North American Butterfly Association.

  • Along with our volunteers, the ATP students and teachers are a strong  force at the Los Rios Park each week supporting and maintaining the longevity of the Butterfly habitats and gardens.

  • On any given Thursday the park is filled with over 40 volunteers to help maintain and preserve the butterfly, bees and hummingbird  habitats
