?The second annual Goin Native Eco Garden Expo will be held Sat May 2, & Sun May 3, 2015 from 10am-4pm. Located in the Los Rios Park at 31790 Paseo Adelanto in San Juan Capistrano CA. Last year's event had over 2,500 visitors. Expo is within walking distance to the downtown San Juan Capistrano Mission, shopping, dining, wine bars, El Camino Playhouse, Regency Theatre and the Amtrak / Metrolink train station with ample parking. The weekend long event will educate, encourage and equip the community to integrate environmental resources along with California-friendly plants in their landscape, as California continues to face a severe water shortage and ongoing drought.
Hosted and organized by Goin Native Therapeutic Gardens, a non-profit organization, this year’s Eco Garden Expo is free to the public and will feature a huge plant sale and a vast array of unique environmental friendly products, resources and services from over 75 vendors throughout Southern CA. The Expo will feature water-saving demonstration gardens, habitat gardens, edible landscapes, electric cars, solar and free seminars from top landscape and environmental experts.
Visitors will gather inspiration, money saving ideas for their garden and home, shop and enjoy lunch in the Los Rios Park experiencing the charm of Historic San Juan Capistrano. Go green: take the train, Metrolink and Amtrak stops directly across from the park.
Since 2009, Goin Native Therapeutic Gardens has cared for the CA Native plants at Los Rios Park built on 6.5-acres.
