Los Rios Garden Angels

Volunteer at Los Rios Park with the Garden Angels. Make new friends, get connected, and learn about gardening while you volunteer.
Since Los Rios park opened in 2009, the Garden Angels volunteers have given thousands of hours maintaining the native landscape (which also helps to save taxpayer dollars).

We’ve incorporated the CUSD Adult Transition Workability program, helping students gain life and employment skills while maintaining the gardens.

Eco Garden Expo

Since 2013, Goin Native Therapeutic Gardens has gathered some of the best local experts and vendors for a weekend celebrating sustainability, innovative gardening practices, California native landscaping, fresh food, and healthy living.  With over 3,000 people attending last year’s event, we are expecting another great turnout for this year.  With this growing show, we are looking for volunteers to help with the following:

  • Planning Committee to cast vision, coordinate the event, book exhibitor and speakers, and serve during the Expo
  • Lead volunteers to manage assistant teams during Expo
  • Running the GNTG Information Booth during Expo
  • Managing Opportunity Drawings for various prizes
  • Helping to photograph and video the event
